Job Title : MANAGER, LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT & SELECTION

JOB PURPOSE KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES CORE AND LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND EXPOSURE:

The Manager of Leadership Development & Selection oversees the leadership selection, development and succession policies and plans for the organization. They manage the assessment and identification for leadership talent, building a robust succession pipeline to ensure leadership continuity. They idaentify leadership gaps and design leadership development programs to equip leaders with the capabilities to transform the organization into a high performing center of government.

Identify current and emerging leadership capability needs for the future, providing advice on new and relevant leadership capabilities needed to drive The organization wide and govt level transformation

Establish robust and data-driven identification and selection processes to assess talent readiness and suitability for leadership roles

Collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop robust succession plans and build a succession pipeline for critical leadership roles

Identify capability gaps and design leadership development programs to support transition to leadership roles and enhance leadership capabilities

Establish data-driven frameworks to measure effectiveness and return-on-investment for leadership development programs and identify opportunities to improve outcomes

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND EXPOSURE:

  • Experience in designing and delivering leadership development programs such as HiPo programs
  • Experience in developing succession plans for leadership roles
  • Experience in partnering with senior stakeholders to manage complex succession requests
  • Experience in designing and delivering leadership development programs
  • Strong knowledge on leadership assessments and selection
  • Certification in valid leadership assessment and coaching approaches is an advantage
